By reducing the width of the toy box by 1/2, i was able to fit two of the open top toy boxes on one sheet of cabinet grade plywood ($30). I sanded everything that will be painted as well as rounded all the edges to make this toy box more child friendly. This process is easy, simply locate any large cracks in the plywood and fill them with wood glue or filler if you have it. Because that is what i had on hand.
